The SAMHSA/CSAT/CMHS Treatment for Homeless Program TA Workshop will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, located at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia.

Hotel Reservations

  

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel for this workshop. Please contact the hotel directly at 1-800-228-9290 or (703) 920-3230, no later than May 2, 2008. Please mention that you will be attending the Homeless Grantee Meeting to receive the Government lodging rate of $201 + applicable taxes (currently 12.25%) for a single or double room, or the prevailing government rate at time of arrival should the current rate change. The Crystal Gateway Marriott goes "Green": The Crystal Gateway Marriott is constantly striving to be a better environmental citizen. The hotel is working to change its lighting to the latest in energy-saving light bulbs. It now offers throughout the hotel, both in the back of the house and to their guest, opportunities to recycle. It now has available a host of convention and food and beverage products that are biodegradable, including "to-go" containers made from corn starch. Monthly, the Recycling Committee meets to review the results and look for ways to reduce the hotel's impact on the local environment.



Ground Transportation from Airport

  

Reagan National Airport (DCA): Approximately 2.5 miles. Complimentary airport shuttle service is available every 15 minutes from 6 a.m.-11 p.m..  Metro-rail access to Blue & Yellow lines—Hotel is located one metro-rail stop north of the airport.

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): Approximately 30 miles. Exit the airport taking the Dulles Toll road to I-66 East.  Take exit for 110 South.  Follow signs to US 1 South.  Exit US 1 South on 15th Street.  Turn right at the end of the off-ramp.  Turn left at the first light on South Eads Street.  Hotel is ½ block on the left.  Airport traffic has access to non-toll roads.

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI): Approximately 38 miles. When exiting the airport, proceed on I-195 West.  Take exit I-95 South toward Washington, DC.  When approaching the Washington, DC Beltway, follow signs for I-95 South, toward Richmond.  After crossing the Potomac River on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, take the second exit, which is Route 1 North.  Follow Route 1 North to Crystal City.  Turn left on 20th Street.  Turn right onto South Eads Street at the next light.  Hotel is one and a half blocks on the right.

Local Driving Directions

  

From NE Corridor via I-95 South: Take I-95 to I-495/I-95 South toward Richmond until crossing the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.  Take the second exit, Route 1 North.  Follow Route 1 North to 20th Street.  Turn left, then right at the first light onto South Eads Street.  Hotel is one and a half blocks on the right.

From Richmond: Take 395 North to exit 8C, Crystal City.  Turn left onto Army Navy Dr., then right on South Eads Street.  Hotel is three blocks on the left.
