About the Workshop

The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) and The Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) of The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) are conducting the Treatment for Homeless Program Technical Assistance (TA) Workshop, on June 17-19, 2008, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. The 3-day meeting convenes Grantees from the Treatment for Homeless Program. CSAT is supporting the Workshop through its Co-Occurring and Homeless Activities Branch (CHAB) TA contract.

On Monday, June 16, SAMHSA will be conducting Pre-Workshop sessions with Grantee Project Directors and Evaluators. The sessions include a Process Improvement Model Session, Grants Management Session, and Project Officer facilitated workgroup sessions. Also, SAMHSA Project Officers will be meeting with Grantees during scheduled meeting times. Project Directors will be contacted by JBS to schedule a meeting with their SAMHSA Project Officer.
