For each National Youth Summit, FYSB is joined by a dynamic group of young people who serve on the Youth Council. Council members, who are between the ages of 16 and 20, help plan, manage and facilitate the Summit. They propose topics, recommend presenters and guest speakers, identify possible sponsors, and host Summit participants during the three-day event.

The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) accepts applications for council membership year-round for future Summits. For information about the Youth Council, call the National Clearinghouse on Families & Youth at (301) 608-8098, or download a Youth Council Membership Application here.
